Can I get a car if my bankruptcy is still open or active? We are sorry, but at this time we cannot finance a car with an open bankruptcy. What paperwork do I need to get financed? Please bring the following with you. 1. Copy of your lease or Mortgage statement if you own your home. 2. A Utility Bill. (Light, Cable, Water, Electric etc.) 3. Your two most recent pay stubs or proof of income. 4. A phone bill or a contract cell phone. ( No pay as you go phones) 5. Drivers License. 6. SS card How much are the down payments? Down payments all vary depending on the vehicle. They range from $500 to $4000. Do I need a phone to get a car financed? Yes. No exception or substitution. Phone must be a landline or contract cell phone and must be in the applicants name. Will I need additonal money for taxes and tags? No. Taxes and tags are included with the down payment. I live with my parents, and I have no bills in my name. What do I do then? In these cases the applicant must have a co-signer that can complete the requirements. Do your vehicles come with any warranties ? We offer a 12 month, 12,000 mile service contract; whichever comes first. Buyer pays the first $200 of every repair. The cost of the service contract is $600 and is incorporated into the loan, so you do not have any out of pocket expense. What is a co-signer? A co-signer is not just a person that will help you get a loan. The co-signer will also own the vehicle. Both primary and secondary applicant will be responsible for the loan and the vehicle. Can I purchase the vehicle and take it home the same day? In some cases the verification process is easy. It all depends on how fast the applicants employer, landlord, etc. sends back the information we require. Am I leasing, renting, or buying this vehicle? You are in fact buying a car. This is not a lease or rental. You own this vehicle with our lien. Do you charge financing fees? Yes, we are a privately owned bank and we do charge finance charges. Do you finance based on credit? No. You can get a car as long as you can afford the payments and insurance. And you cannot have an open bankruptcy. Will you pull my credit? Yes, we do pull credit but only for verification purposes. We also use your credit score to determine your interest rate.
